Pebble Time 2 dead after hanging out in a pool

I’ve gone swimming quite a bit with my Time 2 in lakes without issues. However, last night I spent quite a bit of time in a pool. It’s only a 4 foot pool, so the Time 2 wasn’t submerged as much as my lake time.

But I went to check the time and saw the screen was black. I guess I found the limits of it’s water resistance!

Does anyone have any suggestions on possibly getting this thing back to life? Ideally maintaining what water resistance it has.

I read the blog about water resistance. I know I was playing with fire(water, in this case)

Hey there, I’m so sorry to hear that this happened! Could you do me a huge favor and fill out a bug report in the Pebble app? I realize that this might not be a “bug”, but it would be the next step to get you help.

Head to settings > phone > get help > new bug report

In your bug report, make sure to include your order email address, thanks!

You can’t assume that it was the water, because several of us got blank screens while just sleeping. For me, my PT2 woke up by pressing the Back and Select buttons for more than 30 seconds. When I submitted a bug report, I was told that it is a known problem that is being worked on.

Well son of a…

I guess I didn’t hold the back button long enough. It is, in fact, not dead. Thank you!
