My Pebble Time 2 shows abnormally high battery consumption, far below the advertised ~3-week battery life. According to the in-app battery stats, the projection on a full charge is only 3-3.6 days, with consumption concentrated mainly in “System” (47%) and “Bluetooth” (30.3%) — well above what would correspond to app, watchface, or backlight usage. The watch is paired with a Google Pixel 7 running Android 17. I’ve already tried the latest available firmware update, which only brought a marginal improvement (from 3.2 to 3.6 projected days), so the issue persists.
Hey there! The next thing would be submitting a bug report via the Pebble app.
Settings > phone > get help > new bug report
Thanks!
@wartxena mine showed the same behaviour since yesterday and today it died while connected to the charger. I contacted support now.
I then read how to reset and pushed back and select together and it booted up. Battery fully charged. I think this is a bug.
I can’t open a bug report, I always get an unexpected error while creating.
And last night all my apps where suddenly gone only basic settings stayed.
Edit:
After a few hours it’d restart again and again. I pushed the buttons again and reset it to factory. We’ll see how it goes now.
Edit1: it still restarts and now the centre button won’t react anymore at all.
