I just got a pebble Time 2 and the battery life is only projected to be 5.5 days with 47% being used by system is this normal. I submitted a bug report

But… Based on what i’ve seen on reddit, this forum, and the rebble discord, sh!t battery can be because of a watchface that has hr or complex animations. But yeah, 5 days seems really short, the lowest I’ve heard was like 12
Have you charged your watch up to full yet? Mine reported a short battery life at the start too but after a full charge it seemed to have recalibrated and now reports 14 days or so
I don’t know but it’s possibly averaging over your usage? Watch faces seem to make the most difference for me. I use tictoc as the reference face. Maybe keep on that one for 24/48 hours and see what changes. Also helpful to select the hrm and percentage loss buttons and work out what you were doing then.
I plan on waiting a couple of days before submitting another bug report. The health tracking isn’t setup. The touch screen is turned off and I only check the watch once or twice per day.
Work with Pebble support via the big reports. I had a similar issue - 2 day battery life. They got it sorted for me.
Does anyone want to buy a pebble watch it only gets 4.5 days of battery life. I have submitted bug reports tried what they asked me to do new OS update on the watch still only gets 4.5 days of battery.
Would you mind sharing your logs? I’ll be away until Friday, but after that I’d love to take a look and maybe others here have some ideas, too.

I’ve responded to the bug reports and added logs after the discharge test l.
I received a message about a replacement watch hopefully it has longer battery life
