90 Degree Screen Rotation

Now that I am getting older (>75), I find it painful to rotate my left wrist to view my watch, and even more painful to press buttons. Therefore I have begun wearing my watch on the underside of my wrist, so now when viewing, my fingers pointing up. It would be wonderful if there was a setting that rotated the screen 90 degrees clockwise. FYI, I am still able to flick to turn on Backlight. Since there is a planned feature for the 180 degree option for left handed Pebblers, it shouldn’t be difficult to have the two options.

I probably would not use this option personally, but I can see how it would be useful! And I can imagine it unlocking some interesting use-cases like setting it down on its side on a desk and still using it to control or view things.

I think the main challenge for non-round devices is that the screen isn’t square, so watchfaces and apps would have to be able to deal with being 228x200 (90 or 270 degrees) or 200x228 (0 or 180 degrees).

Although they’re close enough to square that apps not built to handle this could just scale down a little bit.

I support the suggestion  if nothing else because I like the idea of Pebble being an accessible option that can adapt and be used/enjoyed by people of all ages, abilities, etc.
