Support for calendar events in watchface

Earlier smartwatches I have used, it was possible to get a watchface that listed the next events from my calendar.

I have understood that this is not possible in Pebble. I have seen Google calendar integrations but I’m not using Google calendar any more.

Is there a technical or security reason for this limitation?

Even if the PT2 is very good, it don’t mean that it couldn’t be even better

It’s a design decision in the name of security. If they ever make a permissions system that might change
