Anyone else seeing this for PebbleOS v4.11.0?
It’s come up maybe 10 times now. Shows the pairing QR code and won’t respond to buttons. Go to the app and find the notice for the update there so I select Update, as one does. Loads and I can use my watch as a watch again.
Just happened again…
and again. I’m just going through and removing some apps. At some point it’s QR code and “update to v4.11.0”
I only got that when I caused crashes while developing.
Maybe one of your or someone else’s faces/apps does something silly.
I thought perhaps it was some app I had installed, since looking at it and trying to go back to a watch face seemed to coincide with this. Removed it. Happened again anyway.
I’m only making watch faces in Javascript. No idea how that would cause this. The face I’ve had on doesn’t do anything more complex that switch artwork I’ve loaded once a day ( Garfield telling you the day of the week in a thought balloon ).
I have been tempted to try a factory reset, but I don’t trust the watch enough not to think that might go badly. Had a smartwatch, now you’ve got a bracelet.
Is there a maximum number of faces I’ve wondered. Should I start removing the ones of mine I put on. Thirteen of mine, two from other makers, and three from Pebble that do not have a remove option.
