I fully understand that the app also transmit logs when a bug report is made but sometimes it’s not about that.
I work/code on my PC and it’s not convenient to pickup the phone to transmit my findings.
Here is an example :
Was working on a watchface and did some tests with backlight. I set light_set_color_rgb888(0xFF0000) then use light_set_system_color() expecting to return to user backlight defaults but that’s not the case. If I double-tap the touch screen to turn on backlight, it is still red.
I know this setting lasts while the watchface is foregrounded and is reset on app exit, so yes when user press the middle button to get in menu, all is back to normal. I was just wondering if it is normal that after playing with the backlight in a watchface that we actually cannot revert back to user backlight defaults.
As it is currently, someone could use light_set_color_rgb888(0x000000) and a double tap to turn on the backlight would do nothing, until visiting the menu, which exit the watchface.
I would have not typed all of this in the app, I need my PC keyboard, also the fact no log are really required to just let you know about this issue.
The community will keep growing over the next months, please add a place on the web to report issues. You can also add a huge red warning message saying that the app is the prefered method because it sends logs, and to use the web reporting only when we are sure a log is not required.
Does it makes sense?
