I made a face with red digits that were as close as I could get to what they look like in photos of the old watches. Had to make my own font.
No problems making the face. Built and ran as expected in the emulator. Published to app store.
I was able to load the face from the app store. Worked fine. Red digits on black were a bit hard to read, so I made another version with white digits. Just changed “red” to “white” in the color fields for digits. Changed the face name and alphanumeric id and published.
No problems publishing, but when I tried to load the face onto my watch it crashed. Grey screen with small less grey circle in the middle came up after the loading bar.
Removed everything, tried again, restarted watch, restarted phone, no joy.
The only way I could get both the red and white digit versions was to load directly through my phone using Dev Connection.
Tried removing the red font version and installing the white from Cloudpebble. It failed.
With the Dev Connection install of the white version they will both install on the watch from the phone app.
If I remember, the Clay I am using is pared down to just the time setting. Went through a bunch of tinkering to remove the bits I didn’t need. Got that working and I’d prefer not to mess with it anymore until I need one of the other functions out of it.
If you can see it, you can probably tell if I really removed everything except what I wanted to use?
Well no, I can only see the PBWs. At a glance they look okay though you could submit a bug report with basically the same info you have here, it’ll hopefully reach the team faster.
