Time 2 -- possible to answer calls to my android phone?

Hello,

I am currently on the preorder list for the Pebble Time 2 and I saw your announcement about the new Pebble Round 2. First congratulations! Second, I saw in Eric’s video that the Round 2 does not have a speaker.

This got me thinking… I am certainly showing my age here, but I still actually answer voice calls I get on my Android phone, and I do this sometimes using my current Samsung Galaxy watch. Is this possible to do this on the Time 2? I figured I would be able to do so using the Time 2. This is not a deal breaker for me, but if the Time 2 does not support that use case, then I am very tempted to just change my order to a Round 2. Can someone please let me know?

Currently does not support this, I’d be surprised if that feature gets added anytime soon or even at all.

Thanks again for the concise answer… time for me to change my order over to the Round 2 then.

Since the Time 2 does have a speaker, it seems like some enterprising soul could probably write this… Is there a place defined yet to request new features? If so, then I guess I’ll make a request there.

The speaker isn’t even exposed in the developer SDK yet, and to answer the phone from the Pebble it would need to emulate a Bluetooth headset. Those two things may be quite a ways out right now.
