Hello Pebble Team!
I’ve finished my first few days own owning the pebble time 2.
A major missing feature from my prior watch (amazfit bip) is the lack of a native find my phone feature. I use this extensively since I’m a little clumsy and frequently misplace my phone.
Short of a native find phone app there is a 3rd party developer who created this feature.
This is allegedly great, but the app is unable to override the phone’s volume control to play a sound loudly when the phone volume is low/off.
I’ve reached out to the developer hoping there is a solution to this but apparently the SDK does not currently support this feature. And based on my discussion with the developer he said the pebble team did not want to give developers this level of access to the phone.
For me this is a critical feature, please take a look into implementing this functionality into the SDK that the team feels is secure (perhaps via fine grained app permissions rather than global SDK access?)
