Strap specifications

Hi, folks! Waiting eagerly for my Pebble Time 2. Question: do we know the specifications of the strap, such that we could find or create alternative straps? I have a tendency to develop ganglion cysts and so I’m a little bit picky. AI search says that the Pebble Time 2 uses “standard 22 mm quick-release straps”, but the specs on repebble.com just say “22 mm”. Anybody know more?

Thanks!

Jacob

Hey there! So the pins that come in our bands are “quick release”, meaning they have tiny levers that make it super easy to remove and reinstall your band whenever you want. Before quick release was a thing (on the Pebble Classic, for example) the pins didn’t have the lever and were just normal spring pins. So when you buy any 22mm band, just make sure it has pins that come with it or are installed into the band. Most do, but a “NATO style” (where the fabric goes over and under the pin and under the back of the watch) may not include pins. Feel free to reply with any URLs of bands you are eyeing and I can make sure they’ll work!

Thanks, that’s super helpful. I’m likely looking at a cuff style such as

or a soft nylon such as

If I’m reading those right it does look like they come with their own pins so sounds like I’d be OK? Many thanks,

Jacob

First one looks good, I’d just want to make sure our heart monitor is a perfect fit. I definitely would order this WHEN you already have your watch so you can return it. Second one looks like you sent the 20mm size. Use this one instead: Amazon.com: Ritche Christmas Gift Nylon Sport 22MM Quick Release Watch Band for men women,Replacement Sekio Watch bands Green, White Elephant Gifts, Stocking Stuffers for Men : Clothing, Shoes & Jewelry

Thank you so much. Yes, I won’t order anything until I have the watch. I just like to plan because I have anxiety. :slightly_smiling_face:

Really looking forward to it.
