NATO style strap for Pebble Time 2

I used to use a NATO style canvas strap on my PTS and I liked it a lot. I just got the Time 2 (woohoo!) and I’m looking for something similar. I picked up a 22mm strap from Amazon, and tried it out, but the distance between the watch body and the pin is VERY small, so small that the canvas can’t really slide between.

Anyone find a NATO style strap that worked well? Or maybe I’m doing something wrong?

Barton also makes watch bands like this, including ones that are silicone underneath the canvas. They also have a lot of sales, so if you hold out for a buy 2 get 1 or a BOGO - you can get a few color options.

They look OK, but not sure how to confirm that they’d fit any better than the ones I tried already. I’m not opposed to buying a $20 strap, but I guess I’m hoping to hear from someone actually using one of these before I click buy.

Also, what’s up with normal canvas bands being called NATO style? I thought it specifically referred to the full loop bands…

PT2 uses 22mm, right? Maybe the 22mm to 22mm adapter would work to give a little extra space for the canvas…

I wore Barton bands on my Samsung Galaxy watches for the last 3-4 years.

I would have worn them for the PT2, but I’ve been using the Utensile bands from the Richard Tracy band guys who yoinked em all out of storage when the rePebble party started.

I always preferred the wider strap that was closer to the full width of the Pebble bases. 3 straps including the leather ones for $29 are a decent deal. (If not Canvas)

You might like these straps..

I used the 20mm for my Galaxy 5, and have a 22mm one waiting for when I get my PT2.

This link is for the standard length. I have a 9" wrist, and need their X-Long.

Very nice, very comfy all day long.

Thanks, but I’m really looking for the full loop NATO style. I’m not interested in the heart rate tracking, so the added security from the band going under the watch is more important to me.

Also not NATO style. I’m particularly interested in the full loop nylon type band that goes under the watch body.
