Store phone numbers in watch to have them available if phone runs out of battery

@TTMM

I changed the phone therefore I can give some feedbacks.

The app disappeared from the phone and from the app store.

Your stream disappeared from the app store.

I added your stream in app store (people have to remember the address) and installed the app. The contacts were there, I haven’t lost them.

Thank you Philsan, this is very useful. And thank you for your words about Codes in September, I did not answer then.

The list of sources lives in the Pebble app on the phone, so a new phone starts without TTMM Stream. You don’t have to remember the address: open apps.ttmm.is on the phone and tap Add to the Pebble app.

Your entries live on the watch, so they stayed. I also keep a sealed copy, this is what I do: Settings → SEAL → GET, then COPY, and I keep the block in my notes. To bring it back: Settings → BACKUP → paste → SEND. It opens with your paper key and PIN.

I mean you have to remember “apps.ttmm.is” to add your watchfaces and app to app store.

If I press GET app closes and nothing happens.

Yes, you are right. There is no account and no login, so the TTMM Stream does not know who you are and cannot follow you to a new phone. You add it once on each phone.

About GET, sorry, I skipped two steps:

  1. Open TTMM Codes on the watch and unlock it (it needs at least one entry).
  2. On the phone: Settings → SEAL → GET. The page closes. This is normal, the settings page can only act as it closes.
  3. Open Settings again. The block is waiting in SEAL, tap COPY.

If the block is not there, the page says why.

Thanks, but that’s exactly what I’ve done.

App Settings close, but when I open it, SEAL NO COPY YET.

Sorry, my mistake. The sealed copy exists only in HARD, and I think your watch is in EASY or MID. The line under the SEAL heading says why.

For what you need, numbers when the phone is dead, EASY or MID is the right choice: HARD opens only with the key from the phone. In EASY and MID the entries live on the watch, as you saw when you changed the phone.
