I need help with a very specific case. We are using the 3CX IP phone system, and I use the app on my iPhone to take calls. The problem is with the notifications. When I receive a call, I get a notification on my Pebble watch, but it only vibrates briefly. The notification on the phone lasts longer. Is there an app that allows me to set the Pebble’s vibration to last as long as the incoming call notification from the 3CX app on my iPhone?

Yes! Notification Center. Seems like its not on the play store right now, but the app is incredible and the biggest reason I’ve stuck with pebble.

Umm you might be able to recompile the pebble firmware?
There will be per-app custom vibration patterns soon, maybe that would address your use-case?
okay so as an iPhone user I have to wait. Another reason to switch to Android🙈

Yes, I’m running v4.9.100 on a Pebble 2 Duo.
Well the app has to also be updated to provide the UI for the custom patterns. I’d imagine that will lac behind the firmware a bit. I’m pretty sure if you build from source it’ll have the UI. Just hasn’t been pushed out to the stores yet.

sadly with the update I only can set the vebration at the beginning or at the end of the notification, no custom vibration setting. Anybody knows a workaround? I am switching to Android next week so I am open for all thoughts 
My mistake, I thought that iOS also supported custom vibration patterns, but apparently it uses Apple’s special system where the notifications get forwarded directly to the watch or something like that. It’d still be possible to do, I think, but it’d require an extra round of communication. For sure Android will work though.
There is currently a PR open for both PebbleOS and the mobile app that supports custom patterns/colors/icons for iOS notifications! Perhaps soon

Oh awesome! I knew it supported colours and icons, good to hear it also supports vibration patterns.
