Sorry for such a daft question, but is there a way to create a new list with checkboxes instead of just relying on the default shopping list note?
Not currently, only the built-in Shopping list does checkboxes by default. I had the same problem and opened issue 416 in the mobileapp GitHub repo for it. I think I have a simple working fix and I’m hoping to submit it as a PR.
