I’m really excited about the Index! My wife and I both have one.

We want to be able to add items to a shared shopping list.

I couldn’t find a suitable Shopping List App, so built one :slight_smile: https://github.com/maxdraki/trug

Is there, or will there, be a way to replace the internal shopping list with an alternative. At the moment I have my MCP Server mapped to double click and hold - and it works really well, but that replaces the search that I also quite like. My ideal UX would be to be able to select an alternative provider for the native shopping list

This will eventually be possible! Right now it would require natively coding an integration into the app (and we don’t want to merge hundreds of integrations natively which then require maintaining ourselves) but we plan to make this system way more customisable without custom builds of the app.

The closest way to do this now is as you’re doing - setting up MCP servers. You can map it to your normal ‘single hold’ recordings by switching the default MCP sandbox to ‘Default’ or ‘High Capability’ and then adding the server to the default sandbox but here be dragons, it’s experimental and easy to break things or confuse the LLM!
