My new Pebble Time 2 died, less than a month after getting it.
There’s no “Support” area on the RePebble website- the official website- where I ORDERED the watch.
One can send a general “info@” e-mail in from the website. But there’s no “support@repebble.com” ?
I see people post in the Pebble group on Facebook all the time looking for help.
There’s the Rebble Alliance on Discord.
There’s the GitHub.
There’s the forums on RePebble. Where the Get Pebble Help category USED to have a pinned post saying:
Here you can ask for help about your Pebble!
If you have a problem or want to know more about Pebble or want some tips and tricks, this is the place to ask for help and give help to others.
Which seems like it’s NOT the place for hardware issues?
it all seems very disjointed without a CLEAR direction for people to go for hardware support for a company selling hardware. No support funnel with a note at each touchpoint telling people to GO THERE for hardware support.
So I sent an e-mail to “info”, and we went back and forth there a few times till Cody tells me to submit a “bug report” in the phone app? Which seems odd as it’s not a software or app “bug”, but a hardware failure.
So I’m just posting here to suggest to the Core company people (and I know there’s just a few of you) that it’d make YOUR life easier (and ours as well) if a bit of infrastructure was put in place AND public outreach was implemented to make it clear to end users WHERE and how they need to start the Hardware Support journey.
