Thank you for helping this project as a beta tester!!
Do you have a file browser app such as “Files”?
You can side load PBW by just tapping PBW in the file browser app.

Ah brilliant @Hagu I didn’t realise it was that simple (I feel daft for even asking, just clicking on it in Google Drive did the trick).
I’ve got it up and running now, looking forward to trying it later. I really like that you can start an activity from the watch and not have to go into the phone (I disliked that I would start RunKeeper on my phone then have to get it in a pocket before I started - not that the few seconds would ever make a difference for me).
Once I have done some activities how can I integrate the data with RunKeeper so that I can see them on there (and it can act as my cloud storage for the data)
I’m glad to see you can side load it![]()
The app would have some option, health connect, exporting gxp file and exporting tcx file. (I knew about tcx yesterday, so it’s not integrated with this app.)
Health Connect and exporting GPX file is already available. But the data with these function would be lacked something when you see data on runkeeper.
If this app get functionality of exporting tcx, it would be a great option.

Full screen map on phone will come soon at next version of Iron![]()
And now, TCX format is supported!!!

Been using this on runs for a few days now and it works really well. I’ve not yet tried exporting to Runkeeper.
It would be nice if, as the user, you could change the watch display.
Given it’s been years since the original Pebble and my eyesight isn’t what it use to be I find that when I look at my watch whilst running I can only read the top row i.e. the time. It would be nice if instead we could change that to be the distance or pace.
The graph and other details are nice but I can only read them if I stop and look more closely at it.
The original Pebble with Runkeeper integration had a nice simple display that was maximised for the screen. I appreciate this data might not suit every activity or person but, that’s where the user configurable watch face comes in - even a few preset options would be great:
Thank you for your feedback. Yeah, I agree with you. We all get older than before. Let me find something and give me time. I would say it’s going to be after official publish.
It’s new feature…
Do you want to ask your assistant something when you are running?
Coincidentally I had the same idea months ago and developed an app that does this, and it creates a FIT file that can be automatically loaded into Strava. It is pre-release since my hobby time is limited and it is not yet up to my preferred production-quality standards.
A FIT file was developed by Garmin and has location, time, heartrate information.
I don’t have a companion smart phone app, but do have a companion website that has your most-recent activities and ability to map your runs or bike rides, download the FIT file, and upload to Strava (feature almost working). It works fine on a mobile phone through the browser.
Below are some simulator screenshots. Steps, distance, pace, speed, and almost all Pebble models are supported.
I guess I could use beta testers also, but they have to be patient since this is a weeks and months-long development endeavor.

It is great app!
If companion app is not needed, it is great for user.
I packed a few fun features into the long-press action. However, I realized that the duration was a bit too long. I have a chance to modify the PBW to improve this. If I set it up like the image shows, do you think the numbers would be easy to see while running?
I think that looks great and would be helpful. But to be in honest I’m struggling to read the top largest row when running.
Some how on the original Pebble they seemed bigger even although it’s a smaller screen. I’m not sure if it was the contrast or the less cluttered screen but it worked well.
Happy to try out different screens but I appreciate that each one requires work by you
So, even the elapsed time in the top row is hard to read? That is valuable feedback—thank you. The difference compared to Runkeeper is that this app displays an action bar on the far right. This inevitably reduces the available horizontal width, which might be why it looks difficult to read. It’s interesting…
