I love the Index 01 ring, but there are plenty of moments I want that same instant voice-capture experience without needing to be wearing a ring, especially at my desk or in the car.
Idea: a small adhesive/mountable “button” version of the Index 01. Same core tech (tap or press, speak, on-device/app transcription, syncs to tasks/notes/reminders via the app), just packaged as a puck or button you stick to a desk, dashboard, or steering wheel instead of wearing on your finger.
Use cases: In the car, mount it on the dash or wheel for hands-free voice notes/reminders while driving, without fumbling for your phone. At the desk, a single-press capture button for quick notes/tasks while you’re heads-down working and don’t have the ring on (or don’t want to wear a ring at all). It could even support multiple buttons paired to one account/app, one for the car, one for the desk, one by the bed, etc.
Basically the same “just speak it and it’s captured” magic of the Index 01, minus the requirement to wear it. Would love to hear if this is something the team has considered, or if others would find this useful too!
