Brand new Index 01 owner, and I was inerested to see on the Settings page for my Index, an option for Beeper Contacts. Tapping it just pops up a notification though, “Beeper permission is required to access your contacts.” The big orange button for “Grant Permission” doesn’t seem to do anything though. I made sure the Pebble app has access to Contacts. I installed and configured Beeper. But still “send a message to that I love my Index” just shows up as a note. I notice I can’t find any mention of beeper integration on the official product pages or the forum. So what is it doing here in my settings?
Do you have an Android phone? Eric was able to send a text message with Android thru Beeper.

You can definitely use beeper with it. You have to nominate WHICH beeper contacts you want to allow it to use. Each one.
Interesting - when i tried again the next day, beeper permissions worked as expected. I’m not sure which cache had to refresh but clearly it did. Thanks for the quick answers!
