Index tab: Once connected to Apple Reminders, can action take on one app apply to both apps

I don’t have my index 01 yet, but I have been testing out the index tab on the Pebble app. I connected it to Apple Reminders so that once I make a reminder within the index tab, it pushes it to my reminders app. It would be really useful if I mark a reminder complete either on the index tab or in the reminders app, and that action is reflected on both apps. That way I don’t have to check it complete on both apps to remove the reminder.

I’m curious if anybody else is already working on something similar, or maybe if this is on the roadmap. I’ll also recognize this is on an iPhone, and Apple doesn’t open up certain configurations.

The way that we’ve implemented things right now is that if you use an external integration, like Apple Reminders, we think you’ll probably just want to use the Apple Reminders app as the sole interface. The Pebble app just becomes a relay to that app. We’re not planning on syncing anything back from integrations into the Pebble app.

If you update to the latest version of the Pebble app 1.6.0.8 or higher, it no longer creates an reminder in the built-in system if you have it set up to send reminders to an integration

Thanks for the quick reply, Eric! That makes sense. Follow-up question:

(For context, this is on iOS, I don’t have a pebble watch yet, and assumes I turn off the integrations with Apple Reminders)

I really like the Index interface in the Pebble app especially now that there is a web version, but I did notice that even with notifications turned on, when a reminder occurred (as in it hit the time and date), there wasn’t a push notification. Is that because I have something configured incorrectly or is that not something that’s implemented yet?
