I love my new Pebble Time 2 and can’t believe that my favorite smartwatch is finally, actually back! One issue I’ve noticed: I tend to turn my pebble off overnight (like I do with my smartphone, too) because I don’t need to run down the battery while I’m asleep. However, it seems that when I wake it back up, the connection is not 100% there; I no longer get notifications, no matter what I do. Does anyone know how to fix this? I don’t want to do a whole factory-reset-do-over every time this happens. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Eh, forgot to mention I’m on Android - I don’t see those settings, but it looks like my Pebble is already set with all the permissions it needs.
Search for “background” in your settings app, it was in a location under “security” i didn’t even know existed and kinda makes no sense on my particular android phone.

It’s odd, my phone only gives me the option to change to a “high contrast background” and things like that. But I’ve done a complete factory reset and when I set things back up, I had to give permission for the pebble app to have permanent background access. Weird, but now it seems to be working. Thanks so much for helping me out!
