Uneven backlight, blue tint

Hey, I just got my new Pebble Time 2 two days ago. This is my first Pebble and I am a huge fan already. There is one issue though.

I am noticing a slight blue tint towards the bottom of the display when the backlight is on. It looks like the backlight is kind of uneven. Could this be a manufacturing defect, or is this some inherent property of this type of display? I am very interested to see if I am the only who has this. Maybe if someone from Pebble reads this, I would appreciate your input as well.

Hi there! What you’re seeing is an artifact of the RGB backlight - due to how the 3 LEDs inject light into the backlight diffuser, some areas will appear slightly warmer than others. Adjusting the backlight to a lower setting will reduce the appearance of this. Let me know if you have any other questions!

This makes sense to me. I guess it’s a small tradeoff for the cool colors.
