I have a messaging system in place in my watchapp, and want to notify users when they receive a message but aren’t currently in the watchapp. I believe this could be done previously by pushing timeline pins to the watch from my server, but that is no longer an option now that timeline pins are local? (please correct me if i’m wrong)
I’m wondering if there’s an alternative available such that my users don’t have to open the app to check their messages?
