Search function on the forum is ... non existant

I’m trying to get information on Speech Recognition (Local) in the app, so I naturally Searched “Speech Recognition” “Voice” “dictation” here on the forums.

No matter what I search for, I get the same results, nothing to do with my search at all, this is unfortunate as I will probably never use the forums again after this complaint until they fix the search feature.

Quick edit – after going DEEPER in the search, I discovered there are AI search results, and if you turn them off, it helps. But you have to go a few layers to do that!

Thanks for the feedback! This forum is very new we just started last week so it doesn’t have much content yet.

If you have any particular questions about the speech recognition, we’d be happy to answer them.

Is there a way to set it to another language yet or is there English only since it’s still a preview?

Sorry for the delay. Our local speech recognition supports 99 languages.

I guess there’s something wrong with my watches then.. I’m testing it with my Pebble Time Round and Pebble Time Steel both on the latest firmware (v4.4.3-rbl) and the latest app version (1.0.7.18) available but right now even when I’m speaking English and saying “this is a test” it just recognizes these strings seemingly at random:

  • ”the”
  • “….”
  • “.”
  • “the…”

I’m using the original “Notes” watchapp for testing (version 0.1-rbl2)

If there’s something I can test or maybe provide logs from testing, just let me know.
