Need for a remote battery monitor app

Like many of us, I have various radios, media players, network devices and cameras in my bag. I know they all do not offer remote management or monitoring but for those that do, it would be great to have an app to show battery status. Ham radios and network devices can do some of this now through an Ethernet app. I would not be opposed to a PiZero as a gateway between Ethernet management software and a BLE display client.

It may seem silly, but with gateway routers, hotspots, GMRS, Amateur and Mesh radios all around me, it can be a bit of a task to be sure everything is powered on and has battery reserve.

Just an idea. Any thoughts?

You could make this pretty easily if you collect battery statuses using a server, and just create an endpoint that returns the battery status of everything. You can then make a request to that endpoint through the watchapp’s JS side atd display that in the watch itself.

I’d love for this along with all other metrics, like heart rate, to be exported to home assistant.
