I’m having trouble following along with the watch face tutorial here. I tried running the watch face in the emulator after I did the section about the battery meter, but when I try to run my watch face in the browser emulator I’m getting the message in the image attached. I’m not all the way through this tutorial, but I didn’t see anything about any firmware updates in cloudpebble, even when I skimmed ahead. I also tried looking around the forum, but I didn’t notice any topics about this issue. Could I please get some advice on what to do here? I have a watch face idea I’d like to make, but I need to finish the tutorial to understand what I need to do to actually make it.
The latest SDK version just got released today, it likely means that Cloudpebble always pulls the latest SDK but needs a new deployment to update the emulator.
Basically, nothing to do on yoir end, Core Devices needs to fix this.
Hey Imran, about 15 mins before you post we updated CloudPebble - some sessions might have been stuck in between states during the upgrade. If you try again, it should work now - please let us know here if not!
I used just the battery level stuff from the tutorial at first. Made the bar thicker and put in half and quarter tick marks. So proud.
Turns out the 12-24 hour selection user setting bit was also needed. Had a request for one of my usual faces done with my usual 24hour display to have an option for 12 hour. I copied the code for the first one and made a whole separate one, but now I drop it in for the new ones even if I personally will never use it.
