Cannot connect to phone/watch from cloudpebble

Hi,
I’ve been trying to run my app on my watch using cloud pebble but it endlessly does “Waiting for phone”. I have the dev connection enabled on my watch and have tried all 3 connection type dropdown options.
I have even tried logging out from my github account on both my phone app and cloudpebble and it still cannot connect.

Also, possibly unrelated, if i try to sideload the pebble app file from the phone app to my watch, after selecting the file it seemingly does nothing.

Okay, now I am getting a different error.

I get “installation failed; no response from phone”

Do you have Gadgetbridge running on your phone? I found I had to remove this app from my phone before I could download an app from Cloudpebble. Also, the dev connection is in the Pebble app on the phone, not the watch.

No I don’t have gadget bridge or anything like that. And yes my mistake, I have dev connection enabled on the phone app, not the watch
