Pebble Round 2 - Why no speaker?

It seems like a very strange choice to not include a speaker in the Pebble Round 2. I really prefer audible chimes and usually fail to notice a rumble on my wrist. The Pebble Round 2 looks like it would have been the perfect watch for me if it just had the ability to beep. Now I’m torn :frowning:

I’m really confused about why you made this choice in the first place? Even the product page ends up looking a bit silly about it:

I’m probably going to get one anyway eventually. But I’d probably have ordered one already if it could make audible notification sounds. Ironically, this Technology Connections video about audible alerts is where I even found out about the Pebble resurrection:

My understanding is that the speaker was not included so as to keep the slim profile of the watch.
