I am also a software engineer, a rather seasoned one too - so I do understand that cybersecurity is rather hard…
… at the same time, we’ve seen big tech messing it up and losing people’s data en masse - not to mention the concerns around what big data might do with our (meta)data.
So, I think being able to register without big tech is a must here - sorry!
