Thankfully I have about half a dozen pebbles with the same tokens, but this could have been way worse. Why does this happen? I had to pair an old Pebble in order to sync the time and get my 2FA working, only for it to nuke the tokens entirely upon connection.
The old application did NOT have this behavior, and my already loaded apps continued to work when connected to new phones.
Do I need to dig up a legacy pebble apk if I want to use the existing tokens on my watches?
It’s highly likely that the new Pebble app and Pebble in general may not be as reliable. I would not recommend using it for 2FA codes or anything that you can’t afford to lose
If you report a bug inside the Pebble appwith a set of steps that you went through (as specific as possible), we can try to reproduce the problem and see if we can fix it.
