Feature request: dismiss notification with gesture/tap

I love my new Pebble Time 2 and I have worn a Pebble variant since the original Kickstarter. There is one very specific thing that introduces some friction/frustration into my user experience. It probably happens less frequently than it feels like, but it sticks in my mind.

I look at my watch to check the weather forecast on my watchface, but what I see instead is a notification. Fine, notifications are part of why I wear a Pebble, any maybe I could do more to curate which ones end up on my watch. It is simple enough to dismiss with the press of the back button, but sometimes my other hand might be carrying or holding something, so I have to stop what I’m doing, put the thing down, and press the button to dismiss the notification in order to see the info I wanted from just a quick glance.

I don’t exactly know what the solution is, but something I could do with one hand would be ideal. I realize that a flick of the wrist is used for the backlight and I might need the backlight to see a notification, but maybe there are other gestures that could be detected? I’d even be ok with a screen tap on the newer hardware to dismiss, which I could do with the tip of my nose if necessary!
