Canvas for Pebble working with new Pebble App?

Has or can anyone using the new Core version of the Pebble Android app checked to see if Canvas for Pebble works with it?

It can be tricky to install Canvas on newer Android releases, but I have done that succesfully, and have been using it for years with the original Pebble app, and with Rebble’s help.

But before I update to the new Pebble app, as I will need to do once I receive my Pebble Time 2, and later Pebble Round 2, I would like to know whether it will break Canvas - I hope not.

I just tried and was kinda surprised to find it worked! (I’d failed to get it working with the old app last for whatever reason).
