Bevel the edge of the Time 2 glass - MORE

I tried to look through a magnifying glass and it seems the top edge of the glass has a tiny bevel so that it’s not a sharp piece of glass.

A SMALL manufacturing change to “bevel it MORE” could solve the chips and cracks - maybe even across the board. Get that edge down to the level of the case, so there’s nothing to catch. Sure, it can still be hit, and glass will shatter. But the issue is it’s hitting that vertical wall of glass that exists SOLELY to say “HIT ME”

The glass is ALREADY undergoing a process to bevel the top edge.
Do what you’re already doing- a little more. That’s all.
That’s as simple a fix as you could possibly ask for.

I was wondering about a diy post purchase grind, but that sounds scary.

Well, if it’s a shop that knows what they’re doing - no more dangerous than doing it the first time. :slight_smile: But how to do the bevel down to the casing, without hitting the casing. That’s the tricky part.
