Apps published via dev-portal.rebble.io never appear in the Core appstore feed (appstore-api.repebble.com)

Hi all,

Apps I publish through the Rebble Developer Portal (dev-portal.rebble.io) never

show up in the Pebble mobile app’s store. The docs say apps submitted there

“show up on the Pebble Appstore as well”, automatically — but that does not seem

to be happening for me, and it’s not a propagation delay: I have an app that was

published months ago and still isn’t there.

It looks like the two feeds are effectively separate: my apps exist in the Rebble

backend but are absent from the Core backend that the mobile app queries by

default.

Using a web browser (not in the Pebble App), you can open Pebble Appstore, and at the bottom is the Rebble feed.

In the new Pebble App, go to Settings → Apps → Configure Appstore Sources and enable the Rebble pages you’d like to see.

The docs are out of date. The Core Devices repebble.com appstore used to just pull from the Rebble appstore but that’s no longer the case. The Core Devices store is the only one enabled by default, you must publish your app to their dev dashboard in order for the app to appear in the Core Devices app feed.
