Setting up the Index 01 to use Tasker

I just got my index, and i am trying to set it up to send notes to tasker then to my gmail for instance. This is apparently more complicated than i realized.

Is there any kind of walkthrough that might help with this? Has anyone done this that might have some tips to share?

+1 on this ask. I bet Tasker is seeing a revenue bump from new index users who can see the power, but are left facing two learning curves instead of one.
