i’m curious of how accurate sleep tracking is? i’ve slept with other health devices but just curious how the pebble holds up. anybody know? or anyone know how it tracks stages of sleep?
It’s probably very much a YMMV situation. It seems to work okay for me but it’s very basic. Only two sleep stages, it usually detects when I’m out of bed but not always. If I wake up but stay in bed for a bit and check my phone, it doesn’t always seem to know I’m awake.
If you’re someone who is curious about how you sleep it’s fine.
If you’re someone who needs this data to track your chronic sleep issues, maybe get something else.
this is my take.
For me it worked but was not super accurate. Just close enough accurate.
I got a fitbit air and use that attached to the watch strap so I have all the benefits and none of the negatives. I have health disabled on the pebble and get even longer battery life. The fitbit air I charge every 7 days or so. And if I forget for a few days its not a big deal.
Just curious about how you attached your fitbit air to your watch strap. Sounds like a good setup. Any chance you can post a pic? I might want to try that myself.
There are many adapters online. Just find a fitbit air adapter for a watch band that fits the pebble which I believe is 22mm and your good to go.
Thanks–I didn’t know such a thing existed! I will look them up.
