# No option to skip account at first start

**Summary**  
No option to skip account at first start

**Steps to Reproduce**

1. Clear storage or reinstall app
2. Get to [this point](https://help.repebble.com/en/articles/14166019-android-getting-connected#h_9f3a171d06) in the setup

Weird…I’m on Android 13 and was given the option to skip the account creation.

Aha! Okay @burghercain. So if you have an Index (or both an Index and a Watch), it looks like you _have_ to create an account. If you only have a Watch, you can skip account creation.
