I recently came across the Ikko ActiveBuds which had me thinking… could many of the features of a device like this be in a new pebble core? What would a new pebble core device look like today? I would love a device that had the potential of replacing a phone for a “minimalist” setup which Ikko ActiveBuds seems like it has. Curious what everyone’s thoughts are.
If Pebble had survived until today, they would probably have adapted AI features for their watches—I believe so. Since Pebble’s original intention was to free users from the hassle of smartphones, AI would be the best solution, liberating your hands. You could simply say, “Hi Pebble, I want to set an alarm for 5 PM.”
This is way cooler than taking out your phone. As everyone knows, Pebble has always been very cool. Although it has always followed a retro style, creativity and niche appeal have always been the reasons people love Pebble.
