# Dev connection toggle disabled in android app for Time 2

Hey.
Hey I’m trying to toggle the Dev Connection option in the Android app for my Time 2 but it is disabled, is there another setting I need to change first? I’m doing this on the Devices screen.

Hey, are you logged in with a Pebble Account? (Google, Apple, or GitHub)?
If that is so and it doesnt work, can you send a bug report over the app?

Hmm, no, not logged in, running latest version of app.

for those who find this thread like I did and wondered where the sign in action was in settings, the “sign in” action for “pebble account” (which is different than “Rebble”) is under “General”

FYI also that if you’re doing local development, you can also enable the LAN developer connection (Pebble phone app → Settings → Connectivity → Use LAN developer connection) and enable the dev connection without needing to sign in (useful for people like me who have not gotten an account due to the reliance on big tech).
