# CloudPebble emulator settings

I was trying to use the 24-hour check mark in the emulator while trying to work out how to provide a user with 12-hour 24-hour selection in a watch face.

While doing this I found that the emulator window settings box checkmark for this setting was not working.

I just found by chance that this _does_ work for round faces, just not for square faces. I can’t say if that has always been true. That’s working as in I click the green check box and it responds while emulating a round face. I just discovered this so I have not yet checked whether it makes a difference in the watch face being emulated at that time.

OK, it doesn’t respond to just clicking for a square face, but if that square face has the bits in it to provide a settings menu to a user in the Pebble app hitting app config brings up the settings window with sliders and changes the face behaviour according to the 24-hour slider.

I had the same problem, some of the check boxes in the emulator do not change when clicked. Then I found if you click one of the check boxes, then hit the space bar, they will change.

ooo, really? Must try right now!

You know what, 24-hour green check box just worked turning on and off and I didn’t even need to do the space bar. However, I will keep this in mind since it may or may not happen again.
