Charging Limits

Hi all. Was wondering if an 80% charging limit like iOS has could be a good way to keep our batteries in good shape for longer.

The battery last so long (my battery settings page is estimating 16 days on the time 2 with fairly unforgiving settings) it wouldn’t be much of an inconvenience unless you’re going on a long trip.

Someone who knows more about battery chemistry then me please correct me if I’m wrong though :laughing:.

I think the complication might be that the firmware also has to keep track of charge cycles to let the watch sometimes charge to 100%. I’m not sure why they have to do this but both Android and iOS do it.
