# Accessing Android notifications

Hey there,

Is there a way for a watchapp to access notifications from other phone apps on Android? I haven’t been able to find such functionality in the developer documentation, but I believe that this must be possible in some way.

Not unless you make a companion Android app that communicates with the watch via Pebblekit Android v2
